Good Charlotte
Good Charlotte is a pop-punk band from Maryland that formed in 1996. They took a book called "Good Charlotte" Children: Good Charlotte: The Girls of Good Day orphaned Carol Beach York. They released three albums, and in 2002 multi-platinum seller The Young and the hopeless, the chart topping singles "lifestyle of the rich and famous," "Made Anthem" and "boys and girls." The third and last album, 2004 Chronicle of life and death. The group is led by twins Benji and Joel Madden was born in Waldorf, Maryland. Other group members are their friends Billy Martin and Paul Thomas.
Good Charlotte's frontmen, identical twins Joel and Benji Madden, was born on 11th March 1979 in a middle class family in Waldorf, Maryland. Their mother raised them with rigorous, dedicated to Catholic education. Their father left the family when the twins 16 years of financial problems for the twins, their mother, older brother and younger sister. In a short time the twins work as shampoo boys in a salon. Benji and Joel cite their older brother Josh Madden for their rock bands such as Rancid and Social Distortion. After graduating from the Beastie Boys concert at the age of 16, Benji and Joel decided to start his own band, but Joel had never sung before, and Benji had never played guitar. The first band started to be called "Benji, Joel, and Brian Band," which began with a friend. The band was short-lived. He started Good Charlotte in 1996, when he recruited childhood friends Paul Thomas (bass) and Aaron Escolopio (drums). soon moved to Annapolis, Maryland, where he met with the friend of Billy Martin.
After separation of the EP titled EP in 1999, Good Charlotte released their first eponymous album in 2000, which was a great commercial success. Singles that were released from this album are "little things" and "motivation statements" and "Festival Song".
Aaron is a drummer in their debut album, Good Charlotte, before leaving the group in early 2001 band Wakefield with his brother Ryan. He was replaced with Dusty, who was only a temporary drummer, who left the band to record their second album, The Young and the hopeless. As a result, veteran professional studio drummer Josh Freese plays for that album.
2002 young and hopeless much more popular and marks the emergence of groups in traditional music. One known as "lifestyle of the rich and famous" top the charts around the world. Singles that followed from that album included "Anthem", "girls and boys," "Hold On" and "young and hopeless." The Young and the hopeless "won 3 times platinum certification from RIAA, landing the band on Saturday Night Live, Covers Rolling Stone and Alternative Press, the two sites have in the New York Times, and spots on CNN and the Today Show. Good Charlotte are also very popular on MTV, where Madden brothers were to host a late-night music video show "All Things Rock." your videos are popular on MTV and MTV2, with "The Anthem" to join the "Viewers Choice Award" award in 2003 MTV Video Music received.
Chris Wilson was the drummer for the band their third album, The Chronicles of life and death, which was released in 2004. The singles from this album are "predictable", "I want to live," "We believe" and "The Chronicles of life and death." This album is considered a departure from their previous two albums. In May 2005, Chris left the band for personal reasons of hygiene. [1]. Benji also told Kerrang! magazine that Chris leaving the band is the worst part for him in 2005.
Their latest "noise World Tour" with Simple Plan, including Dean Butterworth, who had previously played with Morrissey, as the current temporary drummer.
Style
Good Charlotte hair and clothing styles are usually obtained from other punk bands of the 80th and 90 years. Some of these groups include: Agnostic Front, MxPx, victims, The Exploited, Rancid, Sex Pistols, Minor Threat, Social Distortion, NOFX, H2O, Anti-Flag, and Blink-182. Some of these groups are attributed to the greater Charlotte, opening the album.
